More food sovereignty research

Annette Aurélie Desmarais’ work has contributed to reactivating research and public debate on peasant and farmer activism and their role in determining agrarian change and food system transformation. In addition to tackling the land question, she has engaged in participatory, multi-sited empirical research on the who, why, what and how of food sovereignty and food insecurity in various places. She accomplishes this by working collaboratively with some amazing international and local research teams. Below are the publicly available publications resulting from international, Canadian and more local research.
